Spectacled Owl

I did it!! Finally adding the Spectacled owl to the crew thanks to my photographer friend Tj Braley who took a bunch of pictures at the Richmond Zoo when he took the kids a month ago!

So more animals are on the way while I work on getting my eyes back and a better  feeling on time.

Speed.I’m working on getting my speed back.

This took me three days. I have had the tripod set up on the table and working away at it when a minute would pop up and the kids didn’t need something. I would turn off if I knew I’d be tide up for longer than 30-40 mins. Currently working on being more ambidextrous since I’m breast feeding. That takes up a huge amount of time and space. Way better than being pregnant, but my me window is like a tiny little wisp of a thing. (So Universe if I can get some extra synapses zapping on the left side that would be great!)

Time is short though, so I know it won’t last long, if anything I will appreciate the time I am going to be gaining back over the next few months.

Been back on a daily gym scheduled and that’s been GREAT me time!!

Back to the Spectacled owl. I have been feeling celestial lately and chose to emphasize what was already in the feathers.

Eyes were obviously a whole bunch of fun

Their hoots are awesome. I realized half way through I hadn’t listed to them yet and found this gem of a video and ironic that this one’s name is Galaxy : https://youtu.be/OL6jpsyiQzQ?si=AZiT7hmmry8yUFB9

Quite the vocalist.

These guys are located in Central and South America https://www.owlpages.com/owls/species/rangemaps/spectacled_owl.jpg

Aiming to check this individual out in a year or two.

Well! Hope you guys enjoy the illustration and the Timelapse!
