Happy Valentine’s Day! I got a little festive today and am wearing a pink plaid and settled on this “clicked the button at the wrong time” picture, because it currently defines my life right now.
My morning started at 4am due to my children. I did get an hour in, only to be woken up again, but worked out because I had to get my oldest up! Started my day off with these two podcasts, coffee, and a Valentines gift from the Valentines.
For those wondering if I put all my sticks in the jar, I didn’t. Unfortunately I went to bed with only one stick left. Read a book. Which sounds horrible, but for my goal its an awesome thing because I didn’t end the day with something that I was avoiding. I was just really tired. So this means that I need to make sure that I will get some extra reading in as a reward.
Today I started mixing work with pleasure by viewing all the awesome nature art, photography, and interesting people on Bluesky. I have missed this connection with the world. Seeing sunrises and sunsets more frequently has reminded me how the sun has a different kind of light everywhere around the world. It’s now turned into a personal mental game of naming a location due to the lighting. Also your welcome to those on Bluesky going through sunsets now and playing the lighting game!
Got some grocery shopping done and ended up going to two grocery stores to get extra deals. Will be going to a couple more over the weekend. With that said, I am going to be spending the rest of my Valentines and Saturday being a little less on the electrics for sleep and family time.
