After years of drawing and hoarding designs, I have finally made a calendar! As always I took way too much time plotting this one out.
I wanted everything to be balanced out with tiny patterns with color, subjects, and placement. The Meerkat starts the year by stretching out and getting ready for the year. There are other purposeful placements throughout the year like the Monarch butterfly, Blue dasher, due to sightings and their life goals. Some of the art I chose to include, was for personal reasons, like the Fried egg jellyfish. I don’t like November that much,so, to help with the November blues, I have put in the Fried egg jellyfish, the perfect breakfast animal to make me smile. The Kestrel is puffed up about the impending cold, Great white shark is for shark month, Nautilus is placed for fun, with the Mountain bluebird looking to the summer, and the two plants break the year up. We then end our year with the cozy sleeping red fox.
(Note: I manually did the numbers digitally. Probably, gonna be some crooked numbers, but that’s ok because nothing in life is perfect.)
